Official Rules

OFFICIAL RULES. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. PARTICIPATING CONSTITUTES ENTRANT'S FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL AGREEMENT TO AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

HOW TO ENTER: complete an Official Entry Form, available at participating retailers displaying the display materials. Commissary providers of Star Ranch Angus beef are not participating in the sweepstakes. If the supply of entry forms is depleted, hand-print your name, address, city, state, zip code and daytime phone number on a plain piece of paper and mail entry to: Star Ranch Angus Beef Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 8619, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. Entries must be postmarked by 7/31/10 and received by 8/10/10. All entries submitted become the sole property of Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. ("Sponsor") and none will be returned. The Sponsor and its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, retailers, advertising, sales promotion and judging agencies, are not responsible for any type of typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, the administration of this promotion or the announcement of prizes/prize winners. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible entries.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of California, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Texas who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of the Sponsor, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, retailers, advertising, sales promotion and judging agencies, and members of the immediate families (parent, child, sibling or spouse of any of the foregoing) or households of any of the above are NOT eligible. Void outside specified states and where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

DRAWING: One (1) prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about 8/15/10 from among all eligible entries received. By entering, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion.

PRIZE/ODDS: One Prize will be awarded: the winner's choice of a 4 day/3 night trip for four persons to one of the following destinations: Smithsonian Museums, Washington D.C.; Grand Canyon, Arizona; Mt. Rushmore, South Dakota or Yellowstone Park, Wyoming. Trip includes roundtrip coach airfare, hotel accommodations and $800.00 in spending money. All other expenses, including but not limited to, transportation to and from airports, transportation at destinations, meals and incidental expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. Approximate Retail Value: $3,565.00. Actual value depends on the winner's point of departure. Winner will be responsible for all federal and state taxes on prize. Winner and his/her three guests must travel on the same itinerary. Trip is subject to availability and must be completed by 8/15/11. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

GENERAL: Prospective winner will be notified by overnight delivery and will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (where permitted) within ten (10) days of notification (first attempted delivery). If the winner is 18 years of age but considered a minor in his/her state of residence, documents must be executed and returned by a parent or legal guardian. Failure of a winner to comply with the above will result in forfeiture of the prize. A liability/publicity release must be executed and returned by winner's guests prior to the making of trip arrangements. If any of the winner's guests is considered a minor in his/her state of residence, the liability/publicity release must be signed and returned by his/her parent or legal guardian, who must be one of the guests on the trip. If a winner is found to be in violation of any of these rules he/she will be required to forfeit his/her prize, or, at Sponsor's discretion, to reimburse Sponsor for the value of the prize if such violation is found after the prize has been used. If a prize is forfeited for any reason, an alternate winner will be drawn at random from the remaining eligible entries and awarded the prize, time permitting. By participating, entrants agree to release Sponsor, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, the advertising and promotion agencies involved in the creation, administration and fulfillment of this promotion, including but not limited to Promotion Activators, Inc., and each of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agencies, from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, harm, damage, cost, and/or expenses arising from or in connection with participation in this promotion, the awarding, receipt, possession or use of the prize, or participation in prize-related activities. Acceptance of a prize shall further constitute and signify the winner's' agreement and consent that Sponsor may use winner's name, likeness, and/or prize and biographical information in any and all media worldwide without limitation for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited. Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's participation in this Promotion will be collected by Sponsor and used by Sponsor and/or Administrator, their respective affiliates, agents and marketers only for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Promotion as described in these Official Rules.
